The cone has two directions and therefore, two roles. 1. create an apex by moving a great amount to a small space. 2. amplify a small amount to a greater space. I viewed the form primarily as a funnel- with the task of simplifying- but liked that it can be used just as effectively in the opposite direction - as a megaphone.

The series is primarily decorative but uses the cone to connect to greater interest in sending and receiving messaging.
